Jacqueline Salcedo, M.D.
Dr. Jacqueline Salcedo was born in West Islip, New York. After receiving
her bachelor's degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in
1987 she then went on to earn her medical degree from the Mount Sinai
School of Medicine in New York, New York. She was elected to the Alpha
Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 1991. Her internal medicine residency
was completed at Harvard's Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts,
and her gastroenterology fellowship at the Boston University Medical
Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Jacqueline Salcedo has special interests
in colon cancer screening, liver disease, and inflammatory bowel
disease.
She is on staff at Sentara Independence and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. She is a member of the American
Gastroenterology Association and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Salcedo has resided in Virginia Beach since 1997 with her husband
and three boys. |
