Suhas L. Deshmukh, M.D.
Dr. Deshmukh was born and raised in central India. He earned his medical
degree at the Medical College Nagpur in Central India. Before coming
to the United States he was practicing in Mumbai, India.
He completed his residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the
University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is board certified in Internal
Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been practicing in Virginia
Beach since 2002.
As a gastroenterologist he has special interest in liver and billiary
diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal and colon cancer
prevention. He is on staff at Sentara Independence and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.
He is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association,
American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy. He is happily married and has 2 beautiful daughters.
In his free time he likes to spend time with family and friends,
jogging and listening to music. |
